Hogarthian Harness (Dir) for Backplates "Select Color of Webbing!"
Check out our latest pricing on our DIR harness! We have been able to lower it and we offer a few more options like our Black Hardware, 1 1/2" crotch strap and colors for the plastic weight belt! Also we removed the plastic bukle and added it has an option with color choices and more now even more webbing color choices! Our hogarthian harness (DIR) is a continuous piece of 2-inch webbing that has a # 3 stainless steel or brass grommet put in the center of the 13 feet piece of webbing.
Now you can also choose the webbing without the grommet and save $$$
We use a medium stiff webbing that allows flexibility but still remains stiff enough to work with while diving but not so stiff that the webbing digs into you while diving!
With our harness system you select the hardware from our drop down boxes to build your own custom harness!
Our hogarthian harness includes the following items
3 2 Inch Straight D-rings "Hogarthian set-up", or change to either Bent or Combination of D-rings on your rig. Select below
1 Stainless Steel Buckle weight buckle
You now can also selet a Black, blue, pink or a yellow plastic buckle that goes on your right side for holding your dive canister in place! What to upgrade to a stainless weight buckle instead of plastic? just choose from our drop down box below to upgrade in the plastic buckle tab
5 Serrated or Smooth Stainless Steel Belt Slides for 2 inch webbing.. Select below!
Select either a 1", 1 1/2" or 2" inch OPTIONAL crotch strap with scooter D-ring plus rear mounted 2 inch D-ring from the drop down box below. We built the front end of the strap that slips over the buckle so you only have to attach the crotch strap to the back of your plate and adjust the front for proper fit and off you go!Our crotch strap has all the hardware included that meets the hogarthian requirements!!"2 Inch crotch strap is the Hogarthian type"
You can also add a DIR knife to complete your rig! This knife meets the DIR requirements
If you purchase a backplate and you want us to assembly your rig. We will put it together and you will have to make the final adjustments to your rig once it arrives at no costs! Please allow us one day for assembly of your unit before shipping..Just select the option below for assembly
