The IST WP7 Heavy Duty, Dual Quick Release Tech BCD Weight Pocket, 15.4lb provides multiple mounting options, and a dual quick release system for maximum safety and convenience.
420D woven nylon inner pouch offers a heavy duty zip closure, drainage grommet and nylon webbing pull strap. Outer pocket is constructed of ballistic grade, heavy duty, 1680D woven nylon canvas.
Three 1.5 inch wide loops of heavy duty nylon webbing on the back of the outer pocket can accommodate a belt width of up to 2.75 inches, depending on belt thickness. One loop is sewn on in a horizontal orientation and two in a vertical orientation, so you can position the pocket as you wish on your belt or, with an additional length of webbing, on your BCD backplate. Illustrated instructions for backplate mounting are included.
The pocket opens via a quick release buckle and Velcro® flap at one end, and with a dual, heavy duty zipper at the other. In an emergency, if obstruction, heavy gloves, injury, or other limitations interfere with operating the quick release buckle and Velcro® flap, unzip the opposite end to release the inner weight pouch. Extra-large zipper pulls make it easy to open the pocket in either direction.
Place your dive weight(s) up to a maximum capacity of 15.4lb (7kg) inside the inner pouch, zip closed, then insert into the outer pocket with the pull strap exposed at either the zipper or flap end, as you prefer.
