So we built a d-ring to mount onto almost any backplate! How you ask? Well we made one of the holes fixed so your d-ring stays located in the same area and then we made a 2 1/4" long slot so no matter where you mount it and on any of the different made backplates you can secure the bottom hardware by sliding it to match up with another hole in your backplate!!
We also made this d-ring just a little larger then normal to make sure you can find it with ease on the side of your plate! Ir reaces out 1 5/8" inches measuring the inside of the D

The D-rings can be easily adjusted during the dive by holding them perpendicular to the webbing and sliding. Once a load is clipped to the ring, the serrations bite into the webbing and hold it firmly in place.
Our sliding D-rings are ideally suited for attaching the bottom bolt snaps of sidemounted AL80 cylinders or stage bottles to the waist. Our d-rings can be easily adjusted forward during the dive to manage the tanks as they are breathed down and become more positively buoyant.
