We use a rigid 2 inch 5mm stainless steel d-ring bent at a 45 degree angle
This d-ring is tig wielded to our 2 inch wide slide with NO TEETH but uses a heavy duty tri-glide of 3mm thick! This is one tough d-ring with an even tougher tri-glide
This angle allows you to clip off any item easy while diving
We also use a slightly wider slot opening if you need it: 1/4" Slot opening
